Rules of the House
« on: March 08, 2010, 02:13:36 pm »
First off, this group is primarily for Information Technology (IT) and IT security people that want to discuss cloud computing and security. I encourage you to get actively involved - contribute!  To post here, you'll need to sign up for an account.

Here's some guidance on how we're gonna do things here:

* Respect each other. Simple to say, harder to do. Before you post something, ask yourself if you'd say this face to face. Tweak accordingly :)
* Snarky comments just make us think you are dumb - don't do it..
* If you disagree with something, speak up. Don't be passive. Give your reasons. But help us understand why you disagree...
* This isn't a place for overt promotion of yourself or products. There's enough places to do that on-line, please don't do it here. Feel free to share *useful* information and links, but if you have a vested interest, the minimum you should do is declare it. Spammers will be blocked (if you're reading this, you're probably not a spammer).
* Tell us what you want to see more of and less of.
* If you're holding a cloud security related event, you can pimp that here, just don't go overboard.
* Feel free to share your cloud security blog posts, presentations, videos etc as long as they are not overtly commercial (again, focus on signal).

Got a question? Reply to this discussion...

P.S I'll update this as we go.

Do NOT put single quotes like ' in the subject line of the posts... it breaks stuff and you get nice 404 from the page, not the forum :P
