What is Skylab?
« on: March 25, 2010, 02:56:08 pm »
Project Skylab aims to develop and share blueprints and scripts for creating on-demand security test labs using (primarily) public cloud computing services.  This could be an extension to an existing home lab, or if you don't have a home lab, this could become your "home from home" lab ;-).

The project was kicked off at SecureCloud 2010 conference in Barcelona in March.  To learn more, watch this presentation: http://cloudsecurity.org/blog/2010/03/24/introducing-the-skylab-community-project.html

This forum board will be the main project communication area for the project.

Cheers,
Craig

Craig

You asked for feedback on the video for the presentation - really nice I have to say, so well done.
Simple terms, straightforward, nice structured intro for people that may not know too much about cloud 'offerings'. I'm not totally green in clouds and by no means an expert but anyway I've learned something new from this presentation - thanks!

Thanks for the feedback Tomasz - appreciate it...and glad you got something from it (and I saw from your tweets you were getting some EC2 action :)
